Kapamilya actress Chie Filomeno revealed that actress Sofia Andres blocked her on Instagram.
The issue between Chie and Sofia started circulating after the former’s breakup with actor Jake Cuenca surfaced. Social media personality Xian Gaza shared on Facebook that Chie left Jake for Cebu-based businessman Matthew Lhuillier.
It was rumored that Matthew’s family investigated Chie’s background, and allegedly, they found out something they did not like. Amid the issue, Chie released a statement on her Instagram page asking the public not to drag the Lhuilliers into the issue of her private life.
Then, it was rumored that the so-called “investigation issue” came from Sofia Andres. It was also said that Sofia was the one who introduced Chie to Matthew without expecting that a romantic connection would happen between them.
Allegedly, Sofia did not want Chie to be in his circle. Sofia’s partner, Daniel Miranda’s mom, is a Lhuillier.
Amid the rumored issue between the two actresses, Sofia shared a cryptic post, talking about someone who copies and chases her for clout.
Just recently, Chie shared a lengthy post on her Instagram page. It was about people who scrutinized her. She said that it had always been the case. “When you finally stand up for yourself, some people will still find something to criticize or belittle you. If I stay silent, I’m guilty,” she said.
Chie also said that her bashers haven’t changed, and if she speaks, people think it is her fault or she’s guilty. The actress also stressed that she has addressed this issue already. She said that dummy accounts have been attacking her.
“That’s not right. Not right at all. Tigilan niyo na, please,” Chie said. She wanted to use her platform for good things, and she will speak if it is necessary.
In the comment section of her post, a netizen tagged the IG page of Sofia Andres. “@iamsofiaandres may sinasabe oh,” the netizen commented. Chie Filomeno replied to this saying, “Hindi niya makikita kasi blinock niya ako and I didn’t unfollow her.”
