Super Typhoon Nando Battered Several Parts Of The Country

SUPER TYPHOON NANDO – It made landfall over Panuitan Island in Calayan, Cagayan, on Monday afternoon, September 22.

On Monday, thousands of residents were evacuated, while classes and work in offices were suspended in the Philippines due to Super Typhoon Nando. It battered different parts of the country, and at the same time, it enhanced the Southwest Monsoon.

The heavy rainfall brought massive flooding to Santa Teresita, Cagayan. The user expressed concern over the severe damage the super typhoon inflicted on the rice fields.

The knee-deep flooding in Maria Clara Street near Araneta Avenue in Quezon City. This was an update shared at 7 PM, and as of 5 PM, Metro Manila was put under Orange Rainfall Warning.

A portion of the seawall at the Sabtang port in Batanes was damaged due to the onslaught of Super Typhoon.

The crops at the Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad, Benguet, were submerged in floodwaters around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 22, following the heavy rains brought by the Super Typhoon.
