PAGASA Says Easterlies to Affect PH Weather Condition
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that the easterlies will bring rains over parts of the country.
On Thursday (September 11, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA weather specialist Chenel Dominguez reported that easterlies will bring cloudy weather over Luzon and Visayas. A low-pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has dissipated.

“We will continue to monitor this (cloud cluster) to see if it becomes a full-fledged low-pressure area in the coming days,” Dominguez said.
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, and Marinduque.
It will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Visayas, and the rest of Luzon.

The localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Mindanao.
The weather agency advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
No cyclones or LPAs are currently being monitored inside or outside the PAR. However, a cloud cluster located east of Mindanao is being monitored.
“Wala na tayong minomonitor na anumang low pressure area dito sa loob ng ating Philippine Area of Responsibility dahil itong binantayan nating low pressure area dito sa eastern section ng Luzon ay tuluyan ng nalusaw. Sa ngayon, patuloy ang pag-iral ng Easterlies lalo na dito sa May Luzon at Visayas,” Dominguez added.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.
