Vice Ganda found success in his life
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda, after achieving a lot in his life, shared his new definition for the word “success.”
Vice is indeed one of the most successful celebrities in the Philippines. He had a humble beginning in showbiz but she was able to rise and became popular in the field of comedy and hosting.
With all the achievements, milestones, and recognition he has, the status of his life has also risen dramatically. In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, the comedian-host shared that his definition of success had changed.
“‘Yung matulog ka lang nang masaya. Nakakatulog ka nang mahaba-mahaba. ‘Yun na ang success sa akin. Not the material things na,” Vice Ganda said.
He said that back then, when he was still not financially stable, success for him was material wealth. When this financial security is achieved, Vice pointed out that the idea of success shifted and now, it is more on taking a rest and being with family.
Despite the success that he has achieved, Vice said that he prefers living a simpler life. He pointed out that there is a different beauty in simplicity and just having enough.
“Ang mahalaga lang naman talaga ay ‘yung may matulugan ka nang mapayapa. At tsaka ‘yung ma-maintain mo ‘yung good relationships. Kailangan ma-maintain mo ‘yun,” the comedian-host said.
Vice Ganda remained the same off-camera after years of being in the entertainment industry. He shared that in real life, he is the quietest among his friends. On It’s Showtime, everyone was noisy and chatting with each other, but he was just quiet because he was preparing for the next segment.
He knows that some people would feel intimidated because he does not speak too much.
“Kahit sa grupo namin, ako ang pinakatahimik. Sobrang malayo. Kaya ‘yung mga tao, naninibago. Kahit sa school, nagulat nga sila kasi naging komedyante ako,” he said.
