JC Alcantara has a third eye
Kapuso actor JC Alcantara said in a recent interview that having a third eye is an advantage for him.
JC is part of the movie P77 under GMA Pictures, featuring Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza as the lead actress. In a recent interview, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, the actor shared his experience doing this film.
P77 is a psychological horror film. The actor shared that having a third eye is a blessing to him and also a source of fear. Having this ability means that a person could feel, see, or hear things that cannot be seen, heard, or felt by ordinary people.
JC Alcantara shared having this kind of ability allows him to perceive the world in ways that other people cannot. However, he is also aware that the nature of this ability could be unsettling.
“Advantage ito because nakaka-observe ka kung ano ang nangyayari sa paligid mo. Pero nakakatakot din because may mga nangyayaring masama,” JC said.
JC shared that he discovered having this gift when he was just a kid. The actor revealed that at that time, he saw a ghost appear on his brother’s face. He said that it was weird and he really cried.
JC said that this happened five times, and when they went to Manaoag Church in Pangasinan, the ghost already appeared white. “Okay na siya. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na nakakatulong siya,” the actor said about his ability.
The actor also shared that his grandmother has this ability. He and his Lola would sometimes talk about having a third eye. JC Alcantara did not expect to have this kind of ability.
Then, the actor shared that the most recent third eye encounter he had was when they were shooting for P77. He also had a recent experience at home. When he was about to lie down, he saw a part of his hair raised. For him, the ghost was playing with him.
“Tao talaga siya pero multo. Nade-detect ko talaga kung sino ang spirit at tao. Last encounter ko sa shoot ng ‘P77.’ Sa bahay din na nilipatan namin. Natutulog ako then may mga gumagalaw sa paligid ko,” the Kapuso actor said.
JC said that these ghosts had no request or anything like that. He shared that some just could not accept that they were gone already. The actor is also open to possibility to close his third eye.
