Passengers immediately evacuated this American Airlines plane from the runway
A plane of American Airlines caught fire at the Denver International Airport on Saturday (local time) (Sunday, PH time).
Plane accidents are among the most devastating unexpected scenarios. Over the years, many lives were taken after a plane crash. This is the reason why people started to develop a fear of flying, just like Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.
Because of devastating plane crashes, Kim shared that she was so scared when her flight early this month had to return to Manila a few minutes after takeoff because of a technical issue.

Just recently, another plane issue occurred. Based on the report from Fox News, American Airlines flight passengers were forced to evacuate moments before takeoff. The plane had experienced a mechanical issue with its landing gear.
This took place in Flight 3023, which was scheduled to fly from Denver to Miami. Good thing that the problem was reported while the plane was still on the runway.
Videos posted on social media showed that passengers were seen rushing out of the plane through emergency slides. They were running to safety, while smoke and fire could be seen under the aircraft.
Based on the report, the Denver Fire Department responded to the incident and the fire was extinguished. All 173 passengers of the said flight, including the six crew members on board the Boeing 737 Max 8, were safely removed from the aircraft.
Five of the passengers were evaluated for injuries. However, hospitalization was not required. On the other hand, one passenger was taken to a medical facility for a minor injury.
Here’s the official statement from the airline company: “American Airlines Flight 3023 experienced a mechanical issue on take-off roll at Denver International Airport (DEN). All customers and crew members deplaned safely, and the aircraft was taken out of service for inspection by our maintenance team. We thank our team members for their professionalism and apologise to our customers for their experience.”
The company also admitted that the plane had a maintenance issue with a tire. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has started an investigation regarding this incident.
