Content creator Zac Alviz apologized for his “insensitive” condo investment post amid the habagat onslaught and promised to do better next time.
A Facebook post from Zac Alviz has gone viral before highlighting how condos could be advantageous during flooding. It mentioned how a “high-quality condo” allows a person to “just close your windows” and resume watching Netflix during storms.

This post was made amid a difficult time where thousands were displaced and struggled fighting off to survive massive floods. Previously, Crising battered the country, enhancing the southwest monsoon, which was followed by two low pressure areas (LPAs), which are now tropical storms.
As the persistent rains continue, the content creator issued his statement about the post that earned critical comments online. The controversial post has been taken down, and in another post, he relayed his sincere apologies
“Coming from the bottom myself, growing up in Valenzuela and Malabon, getting soaked in floods at church and school, and doing life alongside people who’ve faced these same hardships, I should’ve known better,” he expressed.
He admitted that he often lacks empathy, a flaw he has always been aware of. He sincerely and genuinely said his sorry to those who got hurt and were offended. His goal was always to inspire and motivate others despite his imperfections, but “never meant to come across as entitled or out of touch.”
With the current controversy, he is taking this as a moment of learning and has promised to do better next time. He appreciated those who called him out with love and honesty.
“My heart goes out to everyone facing difficult challenges right now. I’m really sorry,” he ended his post.
