Liza Marcos Defended By Paolo Tantoco’s Mother

Paolo Tantoco’s mom had this statement about FL Liza Marcos

Nena Tantoco, the mother of the late Rustan’s heir Paolo Tantoco, defended First Lady Liza Marcos.

FL Liza was dragged into the issue surrounding the death of Paolo while he was in the US on March 9. At that time, FL was also in the States to support the Manila International Film Festival.

Three months after the incident, the LA County Medical Examiner released a document confirming that Tantoco died from c0caine use.

After this, an alleged document circulated online claiming that an investigation report stated that when authorities arrived at Tantoco’s hotel room, his companions were present, including Dinah Arroyo Tantoco, Liza Araneta Marcos, and Alexa Miro.

Back in March, rumors surfaced that FL Liza was detained in the US, and it had something to do with Tantoco’s death. However, the Palace debunked the allegation.

Amid this issue, Senator Imee Marcos asked the Palace to release a detailed report, as the name of the First Lady is being dragged into this. FL Liza’s camp denied the allegations.

To clarify the alleged involvement of FL Liza, Nena Tantoco had this statement through a social media comment. It was said that Paolo was with his wife Dina, who happened to be the social secretary of the First Lady.

Nena said that Paolo died in the hotel room where he and his wife were staying. It was said that Paolo joined his wife on the trip to be with her and that FL Liza was not involved in his death.

Nena also stressed that her son did not die because of a drug overdose, but she did not dismiss the findings that an illegal substance was found in his system.

Paolo’s mom is saddened that his death is being politicized and has caused “conflict in the warring factions of our government leaders.”

Nena reiterated that FL Liza Marcos has nothing to do with her son’s death. “Our son used c0caine and it did not come from the first lady nor was she involved,” Paolo’s mom stressed.
