Class Suspensions Declared for Thursday (July 3, 2025) Due to Inclement Weather
WALANG PASOK – Several local government units declared class suspensions in some areas due to the inclement weather conditions.
On Thursday (July 3, 2025), several areas across Luzon have suspended classes, because of continuous heavy rains caused by a low-pressure area and the southwest monsoon. Local officials made the decision to protect students and teachers from possible flooding and other weather-related risks.
The Philippine weather bureau reported that the combined effects of the weather systems may bring 50 to 100 millimeters of rain in many places. It could lead to flash floods and landslides, especially in low-lying and hilly areas.

Here are the areas with confirmed class suspensions:
Metro Manila
- Las Piñas – All levels, public and private
- Malabon – Public elementary and high school classes suspended after 10:00 AM; asynchronous learning to continue
- Muntinlupa – Afternoon classes suspended for all levels, morning classes continue as scheduled
- Pasig – No in-person classes for preschool to senior high school, including ECCD and ALS (public and private)
- Valenzuela – No in-person classes from kindergarten to college (public and private); online classes allowed
Cagayan Valley
- Aparri – All levels, public and private
- Camalaniugan – All levels, public and private
- Gonzaga – Preschool to senior high school, including ALS
- Santo Niño – All levels, public and private
Calabarzon
- Cavite Province – All levels, public and private
- Cainta, Rizal – All levels, public and private

The residents are advised to monitor updates from local authorities and stay indoors whenever possible, with strong rains expected to continue throughout the day. The safety of students remains a top priority as weather conditions remain unpredictable.
