Kapamilya actor-singer James Reid talked about his aspiration to have a wife and start his own family.
James is currently enjoying the best of both worlds; aside from his thriving career, his love life is also fantastic with his girlfriend, social media personality Issa Pressman.
Beyond his successful singing career, the actor has proven that he remains one of showbiz’s hottest leading men through the success of the pilot episode of his comeback series, Someone, Someday, alongside Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo.

In an interview, James Reid was asked what else he might be lacking, given that he seems to have it all. “It’s not something that’s kulang. I thought that now is the time to get back into this industry, and I kind of keep my eye focused in a goal,” the actor-singer said.
This goal, apparently, is to get married someday and start a family. “And that’s really, you know, settle down, have a family of my own. That’s very strong for me. It’s kind of compass for me, it keeps me on track,” James shared.
There was recent speculation that his girlfriend, Issa, was pregnant, but they immediately clarified that it wasn’t true. Laughing when asked about it, James said, “I wish!“
The couple officially made their romance public in March 2023, and despite facing heavy public scrutiny and cyberbullying from the beginning, the couple has remained strong.
Rumors circulated that they were secretly engaged after netizens noticed Issa wearing a diamond ring, though an official engagement announcement was not confirmed.
Previously, James shared how Issa saved him when he was facing financial issues after losing P150 million in his business.
