Julia Montes is proud of Coco Martin
Actress Julia Montes revealed how amazed she is by the talent of her partner, actor-director Coco Martin.
Julia and Coco have become more open to talking about their affection for each other during interviews. They also have all-out support for each other’s endeavors.
Aside from being an actor and director, Coco also ventured into producing with his CCM Film Productions.
During a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Julia Montes was asked if she would also become a producer. She said that she is not taking the lead in this aspect, and she would just like to be a supporter of her partner.
“Wala po talaga, taga-support lang ako. Baka ako ang secretary sa finances pero ‘yung creative kay Coco talaga ‘yun,” the actress said.
The actress also shared that she would often tell her partner how amazed she is by his talent. “Lagi ko siyang kinakausap sabi ko amaze na amaze ako sa talent na ibinigay sa kanya kasi ang hirap po nu’n, hindi dahil kapartner ko siya but because hindi siya selfish,” Julia shared.
The actress explained that even though Coco is the lead star, he would still think of others’ roles to the point that he could no longer give attention to himself. He prioritizes how he would take care of his co-stars.
With this, Julia could not help but be proud of Coco as a producer and a creator. She added that her partner would really share his talent with other people, and with this, many people could feel his love.
When asked if she would also appear on Batang Quiapo, the actress said that she really does not know because the actor is not sharing what’s next in the story. Coco would just tell her to watch.
“Hindi rin niya sinasabi sa akin kaya kapag ako tinanong ng kahit sino kung anong kuwento ay hindi ko rin masasabi kasi wala talaga ako alam,” Julia shared.
With the unpredictability of Coco’s series, the actress shared that when they were shooting for Ang Probinsyano, she was stunned seeing how her partner worked on the set.
“Tapos minsan in the middle of the night magtatawag yan (sa writer), ‘may
naisip ako ganito-ganyan, ikukuwento na niya ‘yan may mga ganu’n siyang thoughts, sabi nga namin God’s gift talaga,” Julia Montes shared.
