SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President claimed that the Marcos administration allegedly has “no plan at all” for the Philippines.

The Filipino people witnessed the soured relationship between Pres. Marcos and Vice Pres. Duterte. It became visible after the Vice President left the Marcos Cabinet in June 2024 — two years after their tandem emerged victorious from the 2022 Elections.

The issues between Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and Pres. Bongbong Marcos was even triggered with her father’s arrest. Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte was arrested by the Philippine authorities last March 11 and the Vice President believes the Chief Executive should be held liable over it.

Amid the pursuit of the Duterte family for the release of the former President, Malacañang recently claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is open to discussions about the Philippines rejoining the ICC or the International Criminal Court. The former President’s camp has filed an interim release bid to the foreign court.

Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte flew to Australia and one of her itineraries was to join the “Free Duterte Now” rally. At the event, the Vice President expressed her personal sentiment against the Marcos administration.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that the Marcos administration allegedly has no plan at all. She also claimed that the Philippines is allegedly not prepared for “global shocks”.

“I’ve been a member of the Cabinet and there is no plan at all, there was no direction at all… Pansin ninyo wala ginawa ang Pilipinas sa [US] tariffs? May narinig ba kayo na preparation natin sa effect ng Iran and Israel conflict?” the Vice President said.

Vice Pres. Duterte further said that the Marcos admin allegedly has no long term plan on how the country can be self sufficient for everyone when it comes to food. According to her, what the Marcos admin usually say is that the economy of the country is doing good.

“Maganda siya tingnan sa papel but you don’t see it at all in the everyday lives of the Filipinos. There is nothing happening in our economy. Ang mayaman, mayaman pa rin. Yung mahirap, lalong naghirap,” Duterte said.

Based on the report, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte told the Filipinos in Melbourne that the country also has allegedly no preparation for the climate change which may affect us. According to her, the nation is allegedly dependent on the Dollars that the OFWs bring in to the country.

“Mali din na umaasa lang sa padala ng Filipino communitySo we need to come together and push for the administration to give what is rightfully for the country,” she said.

Vice Pres. Sara Duterte admitted that she has problems with the performance of Pres. Bongbong Marcos as the country’s leader. She stressed that she has no ill feelings against the Chief Executive despite the alleged “political persecution” against her.
