Lady Netizen Urges Fellow Shoppers to Always Check Their Receipts Before Leaving Store
A lady netizen reminds her fellow shoppers to always check their receipts before leaving the store.
Recently, Gen, a netizen, shared a reminder for all shoppers to always double-check your receipt before leaving the store. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to Gen, she and her husband bought some motorcycle parts for their tricycle at a local shop. However, when they received the receipt, they noticed that the items and prices listed didn’t match what they actually purchased. Because of this, they ended up paying more than they should have.

Gen wasn’t sure if the mistake was done on purpose or not, but what bothered her more was the lack of apology from the store. It made her feel like it might not have been an honest mistake. She posted about the experience to remind others to stay alert while shopping.
Other netizens also shared their own experiences. Some recalled being charged higher than the tagged price in popular malls. One mentioned buying a product that had a lower price on the shelf but was punched in at a higher rate at the cashier.

Thankfully, after checking the receipt, they were able to get a refund.

The lady netizen clarified that she doesn’t want cashiers to lose their jobs, but she believes customers should also be responsible by checking their receipts before paying. She said her main goal in sharing the post is to spread awareness and help others avoid the same situation.
Mistakes can happen, but it’s always safer to review your receipt while still in the store. A few seconds of checking can save you money and stress.

“Intentional ba o unintentional? Di ka pa talaga nag sorry noh. Anong Ibig sabihin nito?
ISA ITONG MODUS!!!”
