Chariz Solomon replaced Tuesday Vargas as Buboy Villar’s co-host
Comedienne Tuesday Vargas decided to resign from YouLOL’s podcast Your Honor and she cited that her mental health issue was the reason for this.
Tuesday has been hosting the podcast with Buboy Villar since last year. The podcast is in a hearing-like set-up and the hosts would interrogate their guest or resource person about certain issues.
One of the most talked about portions of the show was the “executive whisper.” The hosts would ask controversial questions to their guests who would whisper the answer.
Almost a year after the show started, based on the article in PEP, Tuesday Vargas left the show. It was said that the comedienne had that decision of her mental health issue.
Tuesday talked to the management about her decision and it was a peaceful exit for her after she submitted her resignation letter. After she left, the show continued with a new host.
Tuesday was replaced by her fellow comedienne Chariz Solomon. In an interview, Chariz said that this is a dream come true for her since she has been wanting to have her own podcast. She is happy to be the host of the show for its second season.
She cited that the reception that Your Honor got was amazing with Tuesday and Buboy as hosts and it is an honor for her to continue the show’s legacy.
“Itās an honor na ituloy yung legacy na nagawa nila sa pinaka-successful na original show ng GMA online,” she said. Chariz added that the fact that this is an additional work, it would be a blessing for her.
She can provide for her family while making other people happy. Chariz also shared that she and Buboy already did projects in the past, so it would be easy for them to have that needed rapport.
