Actress Sarah Lahbati attended the Paris Fashion Week this year, her second time. Here’s what she shared about the experience.
The Paris Fashion Week is considered one of the most prestigious events in the fashion industry. This is held twice a year in Paris, France, for Spring/Summer collections from September to October and Fall/Winter collections from February to March.
Superstar Anne Curtis went to the PFW and attended several fashion shows, including the Lanvin Summer 2026 show by Peter Copping, the Courrèges Spring/Summer 2026 collection by Nicolas Di Felice, and the Acne Studios Spring/Summer 2026 women’s show by Johnny Johansson.
Other Filipino celebrities at the fashion event were Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner Michelle Dee, Kapuso actress Max Collins, and actress Sarah Lahbati.
Lahbati, in a social media post, shared her fashionable journey at the event. This year is her second time attending, and in her post, she expressed that she is dedicating this one to her younger self.
From the start, putting herself out there has always been about making the younger Sarah happy, as she had always loved and been curious about fashion. She has always wanted to learn from other creators.
Her first experience gave her the reason to return this year. She added, “I remember writing a note that started with, ‘What are you doing here in Paris? What’s your purpose?’ Not to sound deep or cheesy, but I really believe everything we do has meaning. Last year changed me-it woke something up that had always been there but finally caught fire.”
The second time, for her, was a moment of freedom and self-expression. She was there to learn, to be inspired, and to keep pushing, as she still has some figuring out. Being there was where she felt the most alive – free, unfiltered, and full of life.
She loved the rush that kept the spark alive, and although she still hasn’t figured everything out yet, she finds peace in knowing that someday, she will.
