Singer Ice Seguerra is the recent subject of the pregnancy rumor that is circulating on social media.
Ice rose to fame at a young age. Formerly known as Aiza Seguerra, the singer was one of the most popular child stars in the 1990s. He joined the Little Miss Philippines, a popular kiddie pageant on the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
After that, the singer did a lot of TV and movie projects. When he transitioned, fans kept on supporting him. He received a warm welcome from the public when he revealed his gender preference.
Ice Seguerra has been married to actress-turned government official Liza Dino. They had been together for over a decade now. The couple has been open about their plan to have a baby through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Previously, they shared that they were already in the process of this. However, in recent months, no update were shared publicly regarding this matter.
In a recent social media post, Ice addressed a rumor about him. He shared an art card featuring his and Liza’s photos and a sonogram with the caption, “Aiza Seguerra is pregnant!”
In the caption of his post, the singer denied this. “HINDI PO AKO BUNTIS!!! Bilbil lang po ito,” he wrote and used the hashtag “Fake News Alert.”
In the comment section of his post, Ice received comments from netizens who also experienced this kind of presumption. “Ako nga laging napag kakamalang kabuwanan [ko] na,” a netizen commented.
Meanwhile, after slamming this fake news about him, Ice Seguerra shared a sweet post dedicated to his longtime partner.
In the caption of his post, he shared that 12 years ago, they lost their hope of becoming a married couple. With this, they really tried hard to find ways to be a married couple as proof of their promise to be together forever.
After 12 years, Ice said they are getting older but his love for Liza will always be there and he feels the same “kilig” as the first time they met. “Napakasarap tumandang kasama ka, Liza. Happy 12th commitment-versary!!! Mahal na mahal kita!” the singer said.
