Nadine Lustre shared a post regarding the 2025 elections
Actress Nadine Lustre has this “pakiusap” to voters who will participate regarding the candidates they will choose in the 2025 elections.
Nadine is one of the celebrities in the Philippines who is not afraid to share her views about politics and social issues. Last year, she actively participated in campaign sorties of former Vice President Leni Robredo.
This year, once again, Nadine openly pushed for candidates she thought would create a difference in the Philippines once elected.
In her Instagram post a day before the polling, Nadine Lustre shared her thoughts regarding the elections. She said that she has been thinking of the effect of the elections when she can only cast one vote.
However, she stressed that with one vote, combined with other votes, the country can be led in a new direction, and this should not be wasted.
Then, she asked the voters to wisely choose the candidates. “Huwag tayong padala sa ganda ng salita, ningning ng campaign ads at pagpapakitang tao ng mga kandidato natin,” she said.
Nadine also said that she is saddened that politicians are taking advantage of people’s financial status. “Hindi dapat nabibili ang boto,” she stressed, adding that every vote being bought, the future is compromised.
She asked the public to know deeply about a politician’s track record and know who will truly serve the country and those who are just trying to be nice for people’s votes. Nadine Lustre also said that she is always praying for her fellow Filipinos. She loves the Philippines and she knows everyone deserves equality and an orderly system.
However, the actress said that the country is repeatedly put in the same situation because people are choosing the same road even though there is one that is much better.
