House Speaker Martin Romualdez Calls the Alyansa Bets the “True Partners” of Gov’t
MARTIN ROMUALDEZ – The House Speaker campaigned fervently for the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago bets endorsed by President Bongbong Marcos.
This May 2025 Elections, Pres. Bongbong Marcos is supporting the candidates of his Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago, the grand alliance of his party, the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP); the Nationalist People’s Coalition or the NPC; the Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats or the Lakas–CMD; the Nacionalista Party; and the National Unity Party or the NUP.
Marcos Jr. led the campaign sorties of the Alyansa. However, following the arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Sen. Imee Marcos started not joining the Alyansa campaign rally until she left the grand alliance. According to her, the recent actions of the government do not align her principles and ideals in life.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos changed the chant of the Alyansa following Senator’s Imee departure from the team. The Chief Executive remained mum on his sister leaving his senatorial slate.
The Alyansa senatorial slate is left with 11 candidates in the upcoming May 2025 Midterm polls. Here are the bets of Pres. Bongbong Marcos in the upcoming elections:

House Speaker Martin Romualdez, the cousin of Pres. Bongbong Marcos, also campaigns for the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago bets. Based on a post on social media, the House Speaker even called on the Filipinos to vote “straight” the candidates of the grand alliance.
According to House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Pres. Bongbong Marcos wants all the candidates of the Alyansa to win in the May 2025 Elections. Based on the post, he called the bets of the grand alliance as allegedly the legit partners of the government.
“Please lang. Please. Straight Alyansa… Lahat sila, walang iwanan dito. Ito ang gusto ng ating mahal na Pangulo. They are our true partners. Subok na subok sila,” House Speaker Martin Romualdez said.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos previously called the Alyansa senatorial slate his “dream team”. According to him, he is a lucky president if all of the candidates of the grand alliance will win in the upcoming elections.
