PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone and easterlies will bring rains over parts of the country.

On Friday (April 25, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. Hot and humid weather will prevail nationwide.

The ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

Flash floods or landslides are possible in these areas due to moderate to, at times heavy rains.

It will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected during severe thunderstorms.

The easterlies will bring similar weather conditions over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

No low-pressure area or weather disturbance could affect the country or enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Extreme Northern Luzon and the rest of the country will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA
