Bea Alonzo decided to retract the case she filed against Cristy Fermin
Veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin spoke about the decision of A-list actress Bea Alonzo to forgive her and her Showbiz Now Na co-hosts, Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez.
In May 2024, Bea Alonzo filed a cyber libel case against Cristy and her co-hosts. The SNN hosts were accused of stating “false, malicious, and damaging information” against the actress.
This was just among the other cyber libel cases that Cristy faced in the history of her career in the entertainment industry as a showbiz reporter, writer, and insider.

Just recently, this burden was lifted from her shoulders, as Bea Alonzo decided to forgive her, including her co-hosts on her YouTube talk show.
The actress accepted the public apology that the three hosts had. Based on the article in Bandera, Cristy Fermin said that they believed that communication was key to how this legal issue ended.

She also believed that it took a while before the reconciliation happened because it was not yet the right time, and that the actress had not yet accepted their explanation.
The SNN host added that they really explained to the actress that they had no intention to hurt her or destroy her name. Then, Cristy Fermin expressed her gratitude to Bea Alonzo and stressed that they value the actress’s craft.
