Kapuso drama king Dennis Trillo gave some funny but practical advice on how to woo his wife, Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado.
Dennis and Jennylyn have been together for many years as a couple. It is known to many of their fans that they found love with each other for the second time. Years after they got back together, they tied the knot and handled their blended family so well.
In a recent interview for the Valentine’s episode of celebrity couple Janno Gibbs and Bing Loyzaga’s podcast, the Kapuso stars shared their love story.
During the podcast interview, the couple looked back on their separation before finally getting back together and getting married. Jennylyn Mercado shared that when they were given another chance, it became clear to them that they should not repeat the same mistakes that led to their breakup.
One of the things that caught Bing and Janno’s attention was the admission of Dennis Trillo of how he understood his wife’s emotions and mood swings better.
“Kasi ‘di ba, minsan, hindi natin naiintindihan ang mga mood ng mga babae. Mahirap intindihin, mahirap ispelengin. Minsan, hindi mo matantiya, ‘di ba?” the actor said.
He explained that eventually, he was able to understand her wife’s moods and emotions. “Sa pagsasama namin, napag-aralan ko ‘yung rhythm ng period. Kung ano ang nangyayari sa kanya. Ilang days na lang bago siya magkaroon. Kumbaga, may mga phases na parang routine. Dapat alam mo kung paano mo susuyuin sa araw na ‘to, kasi, ganito ang nararamdaman niya,” Dennis shared.
Jennylyn laughed after Dennis said this and shared her husband’s level of effort. The actress revealed that the actor reached the point of downloading her cycle app to know the probability of having a mood swing.
Talking about being parents, they admitted that Jennylyn was the stricter one with the children. They also shared that before, Dennis used to be the messier one. Now, Jennylyn admitted that she’s the one who’s a bit messy at home.
