Tawag Ng Tanghalan is accused of being a “cooking show”
Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) All-Star Grand Resbak 2025 contestant Marco Adobas of Pangkat Alon accused of It’s Showtme of being biased.
The singing competition on television is one of the most followed segments in the Kapamilya noontime show. For the current season, past contenders were invited to join to try for another chance to be a winner.
The contenders were grouped into four. Marco belonged to the blue group, the Pangkat Alon. However, in a recent Facebook post, It’s Showtime announced that Marco is no longer part of the competition.
“Ang mga kalahok sa #TawagNgTanghalan ay may pinirmahang kasunduan bago magsimula ang kumpetisyon. Sa hindi inaasahang pangyayari, si Marco Adobas ng #PangkatAlon ay may nilabag na alituntunin na nakasaad sa kanyang pinirmahang kasunduan. Dahilan para sa siya ay ma-disqualify, at hindi na magpatuloy sa kumpetisyon,” the show’s official Facebook page stated.
This was because of the grave accusation he had against the show, and there is a possibility that he will face a complaint. With this, the show decided to replace him with contender Arvery Lagoring.
A screenshot of what Marco Adobas shared on Facebook circulated online. In his post, he said, “Grabeng cooking show mga boss! Kala ko pagalingan kumanta ung laban. Pasarapan pala ng luto.”
A netizen who commented on his post agreed with what he said. Then, he stressed that those “people” did not know that they were working hard for the competition, but their efforts were not being recognized.
The hosts of It’s Showtime also announced this on the show on March 27. Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda reminded the public to be very careful. He said that there is nothing wrong with sharing opinions, but be sure that these opinions will not harm other people, groups, or oneself. They also officially welcomed back Arvery.
