Pres. Bongbong Marcos Posts Birthday Greeting for Rep. Sandro Marcos as he Turns 29
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President took to social media his witty birthday greeting for his eldest son, Ilocos Norte Representative Sandro Marcos.
Even prior to acquiring the presidency, Pres. Marcos Jr. and his family are already prominent not only in the Philippine political arena but the history of the Philippines. He is known as the only son of the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr. who declared Martial Law.

Marcos Sr. stayed in the position for over 20 years. It was through the people’s unity, the EDSA People Power Revolution, when he was ousted from office amid the accusations of the violation of human rights and corruption during his term.
In 2022, the Marcoses marked their return to the political scene following the victory of now Pres. Bongbong Marcos. His eldest son, Sandro, also ran for the 1st congressional seat in Ilocos Norte and won the race.

Sandro is the first born of Pres. Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos. He has two (2) younger siblings, Joseph Simon and William Vincent or publicly known by his nickname, Vinny.

Previously, Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos caught attention for reacting against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte amid her tirades to Pres. Marcos. The Vice President claimed that the Chief Executive allegedly does not know how to be a president.

”Forget that the objects of her derisions are dear to me, but I would also be remiss in my responsibility as an Ilocano representative if I didn’t voice out my disdain at the abhorrent comments she so carelessly uttered,” the younger Marcos said.
Recently, Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos turned 29 years old. Through a post on social media, Pres. Bongbong Marcos has penned a witty birthday message for his eldest son telling him that he is his favorite son for the day as they keep a tradition.
“The happiest of birthdays to my first born, Sandro. In keeping with tradition, you are my favorite son for the day. However, you don’t get the day off. Continue the hard work! We love you,” the President said.

Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos is one of the signatories in the impeachment of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. His decision came amid the President being against the impeachment of the Vice President saying it will only tie up the Senate and the House of Representatives.
