Tony Labrusca talked about his big movie break
Actor Tony Labrusca recalled doing his intimate scenes with seasoned actress Angel Aquino in the 2018 movie Glorious.
Tony had his big movie break in the said movie. The film tackled the story of a May-December love affair and also featured intimate scenes.
From that, doors of opportunities opened for the actor. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Tony recalled the time when they filmed the movie.
Tony Labrusca revealed that it took 10 hours for them to make the love scenes. “We were filming those scenes at 9 p.m. hanggang 7 a.m. kinabukasan. It was a long night,” he shared.
The actor admitted that he did not know what he was doing because that was his first onscreen kiss. When asked if he felt awkward doing those scenes with Angel, he said that it was because he felt that the actress was comfortable while filming, then, he did not feel that it was an awkward moment.
He said that Angel did not complain, which shows that she did not feel awkward either. “Doon ako saludo kay Angel cause she’s a very experienced actress. She knows exactly what she is doing. So it’s more na I had to step up to plate ’cause Angel is very professional,” he shared.
He had to do what was needed in the scene. Tony explained that once the feeling of being comfortable with each other starts then, “that’s where all the magic happens.”
Meanwhile, Tony Labrusca now has a new series on the Kapuso network. He is the leading man of Kapuso actress Herlene Budol in the series Binibining Marikit which will start airing on February 10 on GMA Afternoon Prime. Previously, he shared that he really prayed that he would have a project with Herlene and now it has become a reality.
