Tony Labrusca is the new leading man of Herlene Budol
Actor Tony Labrusca revealed that he prayed for a project with Kapuso actress Herlene Budol.
Herlene has done several projects in which she is the lead star. Her upcoming lead star project is the series Binibining Marikit. Last October, it was announced that Tony would be Herlene’s new leading man.
In a recent interview, Tony admitted that he wanted to break free from his s=xy image. His big movie break was Glory with seasoned actress Angel Aquino in which he played a sultry role. This movie was released in 2018.
In the same interview on the Kapuso afternoon talk Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Tony Labrusca shared that he prayed to be a leading man of Herlene Budol in a series.
Through this Kapuso project, he was able to meet Herlene for the first time He wanted to work with her because he thought that she was fun to be with.
“Ewan ko, may something sa energy niya na feeling ko masaya siya kasama, totoo siyang tao, and ngayon, masasabi ko, she’s exactly the way I imagined in my head,” the actor said.
For Tony, Herlene is “lovely, inside and out.” He was amazed that Herlene was indeed who he thought her to be. The actor also said that his leading lady can put everybody on the set in a good mood.
When asked what feature Herlene Budol has that he admires, Tony Labrusca said, “Isa sa mga favorite features ko kay Herlene ay ‘yung labi niya. She’s got beautiful lips.” He also said that his leading lady has expressive eyes and he noticed the emotions that Herlene would express through her eyes when they were doing emotional scenes. “Napakaganda ng mata niya,” the actor expressed.
