Kapamilya actress Maris Racal broke her silence on the issue with her loveteam partner Anthony Jennings.

Anthony and Maris were first known as the SnoRene loveteam in Can’t Buy Me Love because of their characters Snoop and Irene. That onscreen partnership received a surprising warm welcome from the fans of the TV series which featured the DonBelle loveteam of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.

After their first project together Maris and Anthony officially became the MaThon loveteam. Then, they were given a chance to be part of the new action series Incognito and the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 entry And The Breadwinner Is.

Along with their success as onscreen partners, their private lives somehow were put under the spotlight.

Maris Racal broke up with her boyfriend Rico Blanco. She had an emotional confirmation about this last July. In November, Anthony Jennings confirmed his breakup with his non-showbiz girlfriend Jam Villanueva who eventually revealed the actor’s intimate conversation with his loveteam partner.

This blew up and netizens have been talking about the issue involving Maris and Anthony for several days now. Both of them did not attend the grand media conference for their MMFF movie however, the film’s lead star Vice Ganda had nothing but good words for them.

On December 6, Maris finally broke her silence. In a recent video clip shared by ABS-CBN entertainment reporter Ganiel Krishnan, the Kapamilya actress was crying hard as she said that this was an embarrassing situation for her.

“I don’t know where to go. Whenever I go out whenever I walk I feel like a woman naked. Hindi ko alam ano gagawin ko. I’m so embarrassed,” Maris said in an eleven-second video clip. Her home network has released the full video of her statement on YouTube.
