PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Thursday (November 28, 2024)
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that four weather systems will bring rains over parts of the country.
On Thursday (November 28, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Four weather systems will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA weather specialist Rhea Torres reported that four weather systems are affecting the Philippines and are expected to cause rain in many parts of the country.
The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon while the Intertropical Convergence Zone will affect Mindanao.
The ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Bohol, Siquijor, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
The shear line will bring cloudy skies with rains and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon.
The northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, the rest of CALABARZON, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, and Marinduque.
The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over the remaining parts of the country.
The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains or severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon will be rough. The rest of Luzon will have moderate to rough surrounding sea conditions. The rest of the country will slight to moderate coastal waters, according to PAGASA.
