Male Netizen After Mom Dies in Vehicular Accident
A male netizen expressed his grief after his beloved mother passed away in a vehicular accident in Opol, Misamis Oriental.
The accident happened at an intersection in Barangay Bara, Opol, Misamis Oriental around 10 PM. Two SUVs collided, with one driven by a 17-year-old. The impact leads to the death of a 67-year-old woman, who was seated near the back door of the vehicle.
Unfortunately, this was where the other car hit the hardest. CCTV footage showed the victim’s SUV spinning multiple times after being struck. Aside from the fatality, six other passengers, including three children, were injured and rushed to the hospital.
The young driver explained to the police that he wasn’t familiar with the area and didn’t notice the intersection. While he had a valid non-professional driver’s license, questions are being raised about why someone so young was behind the wheel late at night.
The victim’s family plans to file charges, including reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and multiple physical injuries, against the minor. Meanwhile, the accident has sparked online discussions about road safety, responsibility, and the tragic consequences of carelessness.
For the doctor, this loss was deeply personal. Despite being a medical professional, he couldn’t save the person who meant the most to him.
The online community offered their condolences and calling for stricter rules to prevent such tragedies.
The accident has left a family grieving and a community reflecting on the importance of safety and accountability on the road.
Recently, Doc Jude Rey, a Facebook user and the victim’s son, shared his grief after his mother tragically lost her life in a vehicular accident. The post quickly went viral on social media and garnered reactions from the online community.
