Lea Salonga will share this holiday treat for everyone
Broadway diva Lea Salonga announced that she will be releasing a Christmas album titled Sounding Joy.
Lea has been in the entertainment industry since she was just a young girl. At a young age, she was already capturing the hearts of many people with her captivating performances, especially on the theater stage.
She is now known as one of the most successful Pinoys in the world of theater and her achievements brought pride to the country. Aside from being a world-class theater actress, she is also the only artist who became the voice of two Disney princesses, Jasmine and Mulan. She will be having her wax figure At Madame Tussauds Singapore.
In a recent Instagram post, Lea Salonga shared a good news to everyone. She will be releasing a Christmas album on November 1.
“I’m so excited to celebrate the holidays this year with a brand new album, Sounding Joy!” she wrote in the caption of her post. Lea also mentioned that this album will feature some of the most favorite Christmas tunes, as well as, come new songs.
She added that she would have a duet song with her friend Clay Aiken, who is also a singer and an actor.
This will be available next month and people can pre-order it now. Lea also said that there will be a limited number of copies with her signature on them.
Aside from her new album for the holiday season, Lea also announced that she will be having a tour. “I’ll also be taking Sounding Joy on the road with a brand new holiday tour, coming to select cities across North America this December,” she said.
In the comment section, several friends of Lea in the entertainment industry showed support for her new project. Concert King Martin Nievera commented “Beautiful” while fashion designer Rajo Laurel shared several clapping hands emojis as his reaction.
