Lady Netizen Expresses Sentiments After Losing Parent’s Livestock to ASF
A netizen shared the pain experienced by their parents after their pigs were wiped out due to African Swine Fever (ASF).
Recently, Ariane Faigmani-Almario, a Facebook user, shared the heartache and pain her family has been enduring due to the outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) affecting their pig farm in Batangas.
In her post, Almario described the emotional impact of seeing her parents suffer through this crisis. She expressed how their years of hard work and dedication seemed to vanish in an instant due to the ASF outbreak.
The situation is particularly painful because they had grown so attached to their livestock, each with its own name and a special place in their hearts.
The ASF outbreak has hit many pig farmers hard, and Almario’s family is no exception. They are struggling to cope with the loss of their animals, which were not just livestock but beloved pets. The psychological impact gets worse by being unsure about when or if they will be able to recover from their loss.
