Angelu de Leon and Claudine Barretto had a past issue
Actress-politician Angelu de Leon said that she hopes reconciliation will happen between her and Optimum Star Claudine Barretto.
The issue between Claudine and Angelu resurfaced because of what the former said during the wedding anniversary celebration of celebrity couple Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas.
Claudine said that she does not want to work with Angelu and this caused the resurfacing of the past issue between them. They were batchmates in the defunct Kapamilya kiddie gag show Ang TV.
Previously, Angelu de Leon said in her reaction to that intriguing statement that it was good that she already left Gladys and Christopher’s party when Claudine Barretto said that about her. However, the actress-politician expressed that she wanted them to be okay. The Optimum Star is also open to communicating with Angelu regarding this matter.
Claudine explained in a past interview that she is not angry with Angelu and it’s just that she does not want to work with her. The Optimum Star also said that she just wanted Angelu to stop commenting about her personal life.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Angelu was asked by King of Talk Boy Abunda about his issue with Claudine. “Kayo ba’y nagkausap na? Kayo ba’y nagkaayos na?” the seasoned TV host asked.
The actress-politician shared that she and Claudine haven’t had the chance yet to talk but she is hopeful that a positive thing will happen between them.
“Wala pang pagkakataon pero umaasa pa rin ako na darating ‘yung panahon na ‘yon,” Angelu de Leon.
Meanwhile, Angelu de Leon is currently part of the Kapuso Primetime series Pulang Araw which airs on weekdays at 8:00 p.m. She plays the character of Carmela Borromeo.
