Is there a conflict between Claudine Barretto and Angelu de Leon?
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto has this intriguing statement about actress Angelu de Leon that ignited the allegation that there is a conflict between them.
Claudine was one of the guests at the 20th wedding anniversary celebration of celebrity couple Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas. It was a star-studded event as many celebrities joined the couple in celebrating this milestone in their relationship.
Based on the article in Abante, Angelu arrived early at the party with her husband Wowie Rivera. However, when Gladys called Angelu to speak on stage, the latter already left.
Claudine Barretto arrived left and she directly went on stage to greet Gladys Reyes. Their “chikahan” on stage caught the attention of the online community.
The Optimum Star said that she is excited that she will do a movie with Gladys and Judy Ann Santos this year. Gladys said, “Game ka ba doon na matutuloy ang reunion project natin with Juday and Angelu?”
With a serious face, Claudine said, “No, no, no. Hindi, ikaw lang at ako at Judy Ann, walang Angelu.” Gladys laughed at how serious Claudine was when she said that. The Optimum Star added that she didn’t know where that came from.
When Claudine was about to continue what she was saying, Gladys jokingly stopped her by holding her microphone.
Gladys laughingly said that Claudine is “suplada” but the latter corrected her and said that she is “maldita.” Then, the Optimum Star said that she is just saying the truth.
After that, Gladys asked Claudine if she did not want to include Wowie de Guzman and Vhong Navarro in the project. Claudine Baretto answered that she wanted to work with the two actors but she said, “huwag na si Angelu.” Gladys and the audience laughed at what the Optimum Star said.
