Ruffa Gutierrez’s Daughter Venice Bektas Pens Heartfelt Message for Aunt Alexa
VENICE BEKTAS – The daughter of Ruffa Gutierrez deeply grieves the death of her aunt, Alexa Gutierrez, whom she called her biggest supporter.
The death of Alexa Uichico-Gutierrez, the wife of Elvis, left the Gutierrez family heartbroken. In January 2024, she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She had medication and treatments following her diagnosis.
The diagnosis of Alexa Gutierrez came shortly after their Christmas and New Year family trip in Japan. Then, Sarah Lahbati who also mourns the death of Alexa Gutierrez was not with the Gutierrez family which triggered the speculations on her relationship with Richard.
Alexa went through treatments to fight leukemia. However, last June 27, the heartbreaking end of her fight against her disease came as she died. Ruffa Gutierrez announced the death of her sister-in-law on social media. The actress-beauty queen was constantly seeking for prayers during the treatment of Alexa.
The Gutierrez family is deeply heartbroken over the death of Alexa Uichico-Gutierrez. She is survived by her husband, Elvis Gutierrez, and their daughters, Aria, 9, and Ezra, 7. It was in 2015 when the long-time couple who were schoolmates got married.
Venice Bektas, the youngest daughter of Ruffa Gutierrez, has a lengthy and touching message for her aunt Alexa. She told her aunt that nothing has prepared her for how much she will miss her. She considers it a priviledge to have known and been loved by the wife of her Tito Elvis.
Venice assured Alexa that she will pray for her Tito Elvis and her cousins, Aria and Ezra. She also promised to be the best older sister to her cousins. According to the daughter of Ruffa, Alexa’s death “has left a hole in this family that nothing will be able to fill”.
Venice Bektas expressed her gratitude for all the memories they have shared together. Her aunt, Alexa, has babysitted her and has inspired her to be a cool teenage girl. According to her, her aunt was there when had nobody to turn to and she was always her biggest supporter.
