Pokwang made this shocking revelation about her ex-partner
Kapuso comedienne-host Pokwang revealed the maltreatment she received from her ex-partner American actor Lee O’Brian.
Pokie’s breakup with Lee was quite controversial. The issue between them reached the court as the comedienne filed a deportation case against her former partner. In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, Pokie answered the criticism that she is bitter about what happened between her and Lee.
She pointed out that she had this feeling because Lee did something wrong. The comedienne said that when they were okay and happy, of course, there was no bitterness but when things went wrong, what she felt also changed.
During the interview, Pokwang made a shocking revelation. She said that this is her first time revealing this incident that happened between her and Lee O’Brian.
The comedienne revealed that when she was pregnant with Malia, she discovered that has been avidly liking an Instagram page of a woman who frequently posts photos that she’s almost not wearing clothes.
Pokie asked Lee who that woman was and why he liked her post every single day. Allegedly the latter got angry and cursed at the comedienne. Lee questioned Pokie why it was a big deal for her seeing that he liked the posts of that woman.
This incident happened at about 10 in the morning. Pokie let that pass. In the after, she had her naptime. As she was sleeping on the bed, she was shocked when Lee poured water on her.
“As in binuhusan niya ako ng tubig. Basang-basa yung kama,” the comedienne said. Then, Pokie said that Lee kept on cursing at her. She said that perhaps Lee was angry because she discovered what he was doing.
That incident was Pokie’s ground in filing a VAWC (violence against women and children) case against Lee. Although she was shocked by what happened, the comedienne said that because of her sensitive pregnancy, she just chose to leave.
Pokie said that it was her host but she was the one who went away. She had to stay in a hotel room for three days. The comedienne decided to return, without Lee’s effort to make her come home because her daughter May was already asking where she was. Pokie did not want her daughter to know about this at that time.
