Former Couple Joshua Garcia, Julia Barretto Reunite in the Film Un/happy For You
JULIA BARRETTO – The young actress expressed the things that she’s grateful for to her former loveteam partner and ex-boyfriend Joshua Garcia.
Among the former couples whose breakup have left countless hearts broken were Joshua and Julia or collectively called “JoshLia”. They are also former loveteam partners who have hooked several fans and supporters across the nation.
It was in 2017 when Joshua and Julia started bringing kilig to countless people not only because of their on-screen chemistry but as well as their real-life closeness. However, in 2019, the two celebrities parted ways.
Joshua and Julia remained mum on the real reason behind their breakup. Block Z was the last movie they did prior to their breakup.
Aside from Block Z, the other movies of the former couple includes Vince and Kath and James, Love You to the Stars and Back, Unexpectedly Yours, and I Love You, Hater. Recently, Joshua and Julia reunited for the film Un/happy For You.
Recently, years after their breakup, Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto spoke on what they are thankful for and sorry for about each other. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the actor expressed his gratitude to the actress for being open in their journey towards making the film and for assuring him whenever he feels down.
Joshua also thanked Julia for guiding him in the making of the film as well as being generous in her acting. He stressed that there is nothing that he should be sorry about.
For her part, Julia Barretto thanked Joshua Garcia for guiding her all throughout the shooting of their movie. Based on the article, the actress recalled that he really knows her when there are changes in her energy or she’s nervous for the scene.
Julia also expressed her gratitude to Joshua for always finding ways to make sure that she and everyone in the set is okay as well as for being open to the idea of working again with her. She thanked the actor for being “generous and honest” in all of their scenes.
Aside from Joshua and Julia, other cast members of Un/happy For You include Nonie Buencamino, Kaila Estrada, Ketchup Eusebio, John Lapus, Bong Gonzales, Aljon Mendoza, Meann Espinosa, and Ana Abad Santos. The film is directed by Petersen Vargas. It is set to be released on cinemas on August 14.
