7th Eddys Hosts Are Gabbi Garcia, Janine Gutierrez, and Jake Ejercito

Gabbi Garcia, Janine Gutierrez, and Jake Ejercito are set to be the hosts of the 7Th Eddys awarding event.

Every year, there are events wherein entertainment awards are given out to actors, actresses, film producers, directors, and other individuals who play a role in the making of films. One of the entertainment award-giving bodies in the Philippines is the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors.

The Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors holds an annual event called the Eddys. It is on its 7th year this year and the event will be held at the Ceremonial Hall of the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City on July 17.

The Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors holds the annual awarding event to keep on encouraging filmmakers, actors and actresses, writers, and producers to keep on pursuing their craft which show the society’s realities.

Recently, the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) announced the hosts for the 7th Eddys which will be held at the Ceremonial Hall of the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City on July 17.

Based on an article on ABS-CBN News, the SPEEd announced that this year’s Eddys will be hosted by actor Jake Ejercito and actresses Gabbi Garcia and Janine Gutierrez. He is one of the cast members of the top-rating series Linlang and Can’t Buy Me Love. The actor was also part of the blockbuster movie A Very Good Girl.

Janine was one of the main casts of the Kapamilya TV series Dirty Linen and will play a role in the upcoming TV series Lavender Fields. Garcia, a Kapuso actress, was one of those who impressed countless people with her Miss Universe Philippines 2024 hosting.

At the upcoming 7th Eddys, the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) will also honor the veterans such as the following:

  • Lito Lapid
  • Gina Alajar 

The SPEEd has also decided to pay tribute to the late comics scriptwriter Carlo J. Caparas for his huge contribution in the Philippine entertainment industry. Here are some of the nominees in the upcoming awarding event:
