Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are among the most-admired couples in showbiz
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera has this answer when asked to share the secret to a happy marriage.
Marian and her husband Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes tied the knot in 2014. They are now blessed with two kids, Zia and Sixto. Their relationship has become an inspiration to many younger couples.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Marian shared that she thinks she is not in a position to give marital advice.
On the other hand, Marian Rivera highlighted the importance of transparency between the couple.
“Ang hirap magbigay ng advice dahil wala ako sa posisyon pero one thing is for sure, kailangan transparent kayo sa isa’t isa, mananaig ang love and trust, at higit sa lahat, kahit pagsamahin niyo ‘yun, kung wala sa center si Lord, nothing lahat,” she said.
When it comes to being a mother, Marian shared that from an early age, she is teaching her children to take care of their dental health. “Mga bata pa talaga sila… pero aware sila kasi siguro kaming mag-asawa, hindi pwede na hindi kaming nagde-dentist,” she shared. Marian said that she got this from her mother.
Meanwhile, the A-list actress also shared her friendship with her My Guardian Alien co-star Max Collins. This is the first project that they are together and because of this, they were able to know each other more. Marian said that she was happy that they had become closer.
In the same interview, Marian Rivera expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her movie Rewind with her husband Dingdong Dantes. The movie which was part of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 is now the top-grossing film in the Philippines. She also wished that the movie industry will continue to flourish.
