Former actress Marjorie Barretto has this to say about her children Leon and Erich possibly joining show business.
The five children of former actress-politician Marjorie Barretto are Dani Barretto (31), Julia Barretto (27), Claudia Barretto  (24), Leon Barretto (21), and Erich Barretto (12). Dani is her daughter with Kier Legaspi while Julia, Claudia, and Leon are her children with Dennis Padilla, and her youngest, Erich, is her child with a politician.
One of her children is currently in the show business as an actress and this is Julia. Her eldest is a social media influencer and Claudia is a singer. Three of her girls are presently carving out their own careers in those fields, hence, the curiosity of many if she will allow her only boy and her youngest to also do the same.
What does Marjorie have to say about this?
In an interview last April, Leon was asked if he’s considering a showbiz career and his indefinite answer was, “I’ll get back to you on that.”
For now, he’d like to finish college. He is now on his fourth year and would like to focus on this for now.
As for Erich, she gave an “I don’t know” answer when asked.
Speaking about the possibilities, Marjorie expressed that she’s feeling nervous of their “I don’t know” answers. She’s nervous and adds that they can’t go through another Julia again.
Marjorie then added on a more serious tone that if she could only have it her way, she would like her remaining children to live a life away from the limelight. However, she can allow them if they are ready to face the challenges of being a public figure, one as such is the bashing.
“Kasi, it’s such a, it really takes a lot of because, you know, the bashing, the judgment, social media, iyan lang naman the downsides. Pero, kapag na-surrender na nila they’re strong enough. Okay naman. Okay na,” she said
