Kapamilya comedian-host Vice Ganda has this banter about “di ko maalala” which earned comments from fellow celebrities.
‘Hindi ko na po maalala, You Honor’
This was the statement circulating online rooting from Mayor Alice Guo‘s answers during a Senate hearing when asked about her background. She doesn’t remember a lot about her childhood and her answers were to vague which raised more doubts about her real origin.
Some of the doubtful details regarding her life included her late registration, being homeschooled and not remembering the institution, no hospital records of her birth, and her alleged link to POGOs. Her evasiveness made Senator Risa Hontiveros inquire if she is an asset from China to infiltrate Philippine politics.
Based on recent reports, Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero expressed that he will not stop the Senate investigation into Bamban, Tarlac Mayor. He said that Hontiveros and her panel can hold unlimited hearings until they get to the bottom of this.
Chinese national Jianzhong Guo or Angelito Guo, the mayor’s father, is invited to the next hearing for further questioning and will be subpoenaed if he doesn’t show up.
With all these serious matter being discussed in the hearing, the issue online became a subject of jokes and banters. Those who do this include celebrities such as Vice Ganda.
In the recent post of the comedian, he wrote in the caption, “Chaka ka ba? Di ko po maalala your honor!”
The caption is seemingly in reference to the popular line and this earned various comments online.
