Actor-comedian Dennis Padilla hopes for continued healing and has this promise for his children Julia, Claudia, and Leon.
It has been several years already since actor-comedian Dennis Padilla saw his children Julia Barretto, Claudia, and Leon. They are his children with his former partner Marjorie Barretto.
They have not quite a good relationship. The past years were a bit rough for them but just previously, some signs indicate progress in their relationship. He was greeted by Julia on his birthday through a personal message and Leon responded to his birthday greeting for him when he turned 21 years old.
With these good signs that seem to show an improvement in his relationship with them, he could only wish for continued “healing”. He also hopes to see them soon and he will make sure to exert an extra effort for this to happen.
His promise for his children
“To my children, I hope magkita-kita tayo soon. And promise, sisikapin ko na makausap kayo nang mas madalas at sisikapin ko na magkita tayo nang madalas,” he said. The actor expressed to work harder to be able to see them and to talk to them more often.
He added that he is even willing to adjust his schedule and match it to their free schedule so they could see each other. He completely understands that his two daughters are busy with their respective career and that his son, who is a Dean’s Lister, is busy with his schooling.
“Priority ko na makausap at makita kayo very, very soon. I love you all,” he added.
Meanwhile, in a previous article, Dennis’ former partner belies his claims about good co-parenting and financial support. According to Linda Gorton, she and the actor separated in 2020 but there were no formal conversation about it.
It is true that he sends child support but not in a consistent manner. There were lapses in between and she is the one who is filling in these lapses. Moreover, about co-parenting, they don’t have this kind of relationship but he has a good communication with their two children.
