Student’s Appreciation Message Brings Male Teacher to Tears
HEARTWARMING MOMENT – A male teacher was moved to tears after reading the appreciation message from his student.
Recently, Jehu Laniog, a Facebook user, shared his experience that brought him to tears not due to disobedience or disrespect from a student, but as a result of an appreciation message that was given to him.
In the post, the Social Science teacher shared his emotional response to a student’s expression of gratitude. The student’s message went beyond appreciation for the lessons taught.
The student expressed gratitude for not only the academic lessons but also for the emphasis placed on fundamental aspects of life such as sleep, rest, and nourishment. Laniog’s teaching approach is characterized by collaboration and relevance to students’ lives.
At the beginning of the semester, he involves students in establishing class rules, building a sense of ownership and responsibility. He believes in creating a democratic space where diverse opinions are valued and discussions contribute to critical thinking.
