To recall, celebrities Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez got married after many years of being together. However, their marriage only lasted for several weeks. They separated seven weeks after tying the knot, and as of this writing, they have not revealed the real reason yet.
Years later, she believed in love again. She got married to Dr. Reginald Santos on December 27, 2025, in a private ceremony in Tagaytay City.
A part of Carla’s wedding vows said, “Thank you, Lord, most importantly, for now giving me the clearest answer to all my painful whys. For as a wife with a ring on my finger and a heart full of gratitude.”
Recently, in an interview, she poked fun at her previous marriage, expressing that she has five weeks left to beat her previous record.
“Life as a married woman, as a wife. Sabi ko nga najojoke ako so far we’re married [for] two weeks so konti nalang mabeat ko yung record ko dati na seven weeks,” she quipped, and added, “Kung dati nag tagal seven weeks lang, ngayon, five more weeks mabebeat ko na yung sarili kong record.”
On a serious note, she expressed that she is excited about what’s ahead for her life now as a married woman again. She is excited for what’s to come for her and her husband. She feels like experiencing married life for the first time again, and while hopeful, she is looking forward to the good and challenging times that they will face together.
Her husband is her first love, and when they were younger, he was torn between their relationship and his studies. He chose the latter and is now successful in the medical field.
