Darren Espanto talked about his past love life
Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto revealed that he and singer Jayda Avanzado had a relationship in the past.
Darren has been one of the trending celebrities in the Philippines these past few days. It all started when he directly admitted the real score between him and Kapuso actress Cassy Legaspi who has been linked to him for quite a while.
He said that they are just best friends and this became controversial because of the social media posts that Cassy shared that were speculated to be connected to what he said.
In an interview, Cassy echoed Darren’s statement as she said that people may not understand but they are really best friends.
Darren Espanto once again became a trending topic on social media after his guesting on Fast Talk, the Kapuso talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda. In the said interview, he revealed the past relationship he had with Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara, who was rumored to be Mavy Legaspi’s ex-girlfriend.
Darren also admitted that he and Jayda had a relationship years ago. “Jayda and I have been friends since we were younger din po, and Jayda and I are still friends naman,” he said.
The singer also said that he thinks he and Jayda would like to keep their past private. Then, Tito Boy asked him directly, “Was there anything romantic between the two of you?”
Darren’s answer was, “Opo. There’s definitely was, but yun lang ang sasabihin ko. We’re still friends.”
In the same interview, the Kapamilya singer also stressed that there is no conflict between him and Cassy. He also stressed that he knows that Cassy loves to post songs on her social media page and that her mom Carmina Villarroel posts Bible verses and quotes everyday.
Darren Espanto said that netizens just stitched those posts to what he said about him and Cassy Legaspi.
