  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter or vegetable shortening
  • 1 piece chicken cube
  • 2 cups water

Heat a saucepan and add the butter to melt it under low heat. Make sure that the butter totally melts before adding the other ingredients on the pan.
