PAGASA Says 3 Weather Systems to Affect PH Weather Condition
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that three weather systems will bring rain over parts of the country.
On Saturday (November 30, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Three weather systems will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA weather specialist Benison Estareja reported that intertropical convergence zone, shear line, and northeast monsoon, will continue to bring cloudy skies with rains over parts of the country.
“Ngayong Bonifacio Day may tatlong weather systems tayo na nagpapaulan sa ating bansa, una na diyan ang amihan o northeast monsoon sa may northern and central Luzon na siyang nagdadala ng pagbaba ng temperature doon,” Estareja said.
The shear line will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains in Central and Southern Luzon, particularly inthe Bicol Region, Quezon, Laguna, and Rizal.
“Meron naman tayong shear line naman na magdadala ng malakas na ulan sa may bahagi ng Northern Luzon. Sa Visayas down to Mindanao andyan pa rin ang ITCZ, kaya asaham ang makulimlim na panahon doon,” he added.
Amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.
The ITCZ will bring similar weather conditions with thunderstorms over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Negros Island Region, Aklan, Capiz, Iloilo, and Palawan.
The northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon.
The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather conditions over the remaining parts of the country.
The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition throughout the country will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.
