On March 2, rumors started to circulate that Tahanang Pinakamasaya, the show that replaced Eat Bulaga under TAPE Inc, had aired its final episode because of how emotional the hosts were during the closing spiel.

Eventually, it was confirmed that the production company decided to discontinue the show.

Abante entertainment writer Jun Lalin shared in his recent article that a source revealed that TAPE is fixing its “utang” to GMA. “Fixing severance fees na ng mga employees assigned sa ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’,” the source said.

The source also clarified that the production company is not closing and it will still continue its operation. “To put the records straight, ang show lang ng TAPE ang nag-stop but TAPE as a company did not stop operation,” the source stressed.
