This was what comedian-actor Pepe Herrera shared during the recent press conference for the said new Kapamilya series. Kim and Paulo’s tandem are well-loved by many fans. They were first seen together in the drama series Linlang where the viewers loved their chemistry.
Their loveteam, now known as KimPau, continued to give “kilig” to their fans with their series adapted from the hit K-drama series.
In a recent presscon for this new project, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Pepe Herrera shared that Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are like “mag-asawa” on the set.
“At kung sasabihin nilang matagal na sila, maniniwala kami. Sobra talaga kaming kinikilig sa kanila,” Pepe added and this made the audience shout with “kilig” and this went to the next level when the comedian-actor made the loveteam partners hold each other’s hands.
During the presscon, Paulo also had a statement about Kim that made their fans happy. The actor said that Kim was the mood setter in their tapings. He said that his leading lady is one of a kind.
“’Pag high energy si Kim, siya talaga ‘yung nagse-set ng tone nung set, lahat ng tao energized din. So parang ngayon lang ako nakakita ng taong ganun na kayang i-set ‘yung energy level ng set,” the actor said.
Meanwhile, because of Kim and Paulo’s onscreen chemistry, it is inevitable for fans to speculate that there is something romantic between them in real life. On Valentine’s Day the actress shared that she received a beautiful bouquet from a certain “P” and netizens, especially their fans, somehow speculated that this was from Paulo.
