TAPE Inc is not yet confirming the rumored end of ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’
The legal counsel of TAPE Inc has this statement following the speculations that Kapuso noontime show Tahanang Pinakamasaya aired its last episode on Saturday.
Following the episode on March 2, rumors circulated that the noontime show produced by the production company owned by Romy Jalosjos would discontinue airing. It was because of the emotional closing spiels of hosts Isko Moreno and Paolo Contis.
Different reactions were expressed regarding this. Some netizens criticized the hosts and the choices that the production company had after the iconic trio TVJ left.
In an article by entertainment writer Salve Asis in Pang-Masa, she said that last Saturday was Tahanang Pinakamasaya’s last episode. However, TAPE Inc has not released an official statement yet on this.
The columnist also said that they haven’t got an answer yet as to what show will replace it or if the show will no longer return. Asis also asked if replays will be aired. Rumor has it that the production company could not sustain the expenses.
Previously, it was rumored that even before TVJ left the Kapuso noontime show, TAPE already had millions of debt to GMA. The columnist also said that it is rumored that the show spends P1 million a day for its airing.
Asis shared that Atty. Maggie Garduque said that TAPE and GMA will release a joint statement on this matter on March 4. However, when she asked if last Saturday’s episode was the last, she said, “Wala pa po ako authority to release statement ate e wait na lang po siguro natin sa Monday.”
With this, Asis asked if the Kapuso noontime show will discontinue, will this mean that Isko Moreno will run for senator in the next elections? When the actor-politician joined the show, he debunked the allegations that he will use the show for his political career.
