Lady Netizen Shares Cousin’s Memorable Wedding Adventure Amid Flood
A lady netizen goes viral online after sharing the memorable wedding adventure of her cousin in Dalaguete, Cebu.
Joy Ambayec, a Facebook user, shares amazing photos of her journey alongside wedding guests and the newlyweds Rolando Hortado & Analiza Ambayec in Bulak, Dalaguete. The post circulated on social media and elicited reactions from the internet users.
The newlyweds, along with their guests, laughed and cherished the ride as they crossed a river on their way to the reception.
Ambayec, the bride’s cousin, who posted the photos on Facebook, revealed that there was no alternative route but to cross through the river. The drivers had to push through the river.
Formerly, there was a bridge, known as ‘taytayan,’ which was used for crossing over obstacles like rivers. However, the bridge succumbed to flood damage due to heavy rainfall. A new bridge is being constructed, but for now, only pedestrians can pass.
The couple’s journey to the celebration in Bulak, Dalaguete, took them close to an hour after the wedding ceremony in Manlapay, Dalaguete.
The lady netizen claimed that it was a lot of fun because most of the attendees had never experienced that place before.
Ambayec even mentioned that the visitors were surprised by the distance they had to travel and the exciting river crossing. One motorcycle got stuck halfway, and its passengers had to walk.
The memorable wedding ceremony will undoubtedly be remembered and cherished for years to come as it captures the joyous spirit of the wedding entourage and guests.
The post has a caption:
“Anga uy!Kanang ni attend mo og kasal pero sapa ang agianan , basta masipyat langoy gyud”
