Unbothered! Julia Barretto has this to say to the bashers of her love life.
Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto speaks about the persistent split rumors of her and boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
After the controversial split of Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson in July 2019, they found themselves at peace for finding new love. Anderson is currently in a relationship with Julia Barretto and they have been really low-key of their relationship since they confirmed it.
They officially announced their relationship in 2021 and since then, they have been keeping their relationship steady.
Despite issues and controversies thrown at their relationship, the couple remains steadfast in being unbothered. Recently in an interview, the actress was asked about the breakup rumors surrounding their relationship, which is not the first time.
Being unbothered as they always were, the actress expressed that she actually doesn’t know where the rumors are coming from. All that she knows is that it happens always and the rumor is constant.
Now, with all these still going on, she realized that she should just take this as a compliment instead. The rumor is something that might take them down but just every time it would surface, they would always overcome it and prove the bashers wrong.
They were able to manage and protect their own “private bubble”.
“Parang ganun ang balita, every month, for how many years na talaga. Hindi ko rin alam kung san nanggagaling but I think I’ll just take it as a compliment I guess, that we’re able to create that private bubble of ours na hindi lang talaga nila alam masyado kung ano yung nangyayari sa partnership namin,” she said.
It is accordingly a conscious effort from the both of them to do it. They both know that not everything they do must be shared on social media for the public to feast on.
She then added, “I think that’s also a conscious effort on our end na talagang protektahan, na hindi kailangan mag-overshare na hindi dapat bawat galaw kailangan alam ng lahat. Siguro, that’s why they think, but happy lang.”
